Hair Rinses

Nettle is the common name for the plant Urtica dioica, also called Stinging Nettle. Stinging Nettle herb is an exceptional plant for restoring health and beauty to your hair. An herbal infusion made from nettle leaf is a gentle and safe herb to rinse your hair with. It is also made into an infusion to drink every day. In fact, you receive more nourishment to your whole body, skin and hair when you drink nettle infusion on a daily basis and use it as a hair rinse weekly.

If you see that hair has stopped to grow, but become to fall out actively, try to make a 10-days course of tea procedures. You should rub into head skin warm strong tea infusion every day. You can do it separately from washing your head and don't wash infusion.

Either apple cider vinegar or white vinegar will do, but many seem to prefer the apple cider. Simply take a clean empty squeeze bottle or cup and dilute with water. After shampooing your hair, evenly distribute this mixture throughout your hair while rubbing it in to make sure all the hair is covered, paying special attention to the areas closer to the scalp. (Be careful not to get any in your eyes- it will sting!) You can leave this on for just a few minutes and then give your hair one more light rinse.

Another hair darkening recipe using coffee is one that you can easily blend to add some darkness to your locks and also give them some much-needed shine. This is best if you already are a brunette that is looking to stain and enhance your hair color. Begin by mixing 2 cups of leave in conditioner with 2 tbsp. of coffee grounds and 1 cup of brewed coffee that has been cooled.

Adding essential oils to natural shampoos can make shampoos therapeutic as well as cleansing. Why do I say natural shampoo? Well, have you read the ingredients on a lot of shampoos? Many of the ingredients are in there to help the cleaning power, but they are made of petroleum-based products that can be harsh to the hair and scalp. Due to controversy over some of these products, many companies are now using closely related coconut products, which don't lather up quite as well, but still clean.

Give your hair a final rinse with not so strong smelling beer to get a lovely shine.

Lightly heat the rosemary oil, massage it on to the scalp and let it sit for several minutes before rinsing it off with warm water.

If itchy scalp is your worry, apply some yoghurt. Wrap your hair with a towel for 15 minutes and then rinse. Yoghurt will chase away the dandruff too.

Mix three parts of water to one part of vinegar; soak or spray your hair in this solution to remove any shampoo buildup. Rinse as usual and you will find hair that is easy to manage and style.

Essential oils like ylang ylang if added to either shampoo or conditioner will stimulates hair growth and act as hair rejuvenator.
